DeMarini Sports started from having a dirt-floored barn as a headquarters to moving to a slightly larger metal shack. The company grew steadily by focusing on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike and directly selling them to customers. DeMarini Sports introduced the world’s first multi-wall bat, the DeMarini Doublewall. This bat had a giant sweetspot, which allowed average players to hit like pros. It also introduced two other firsts – the first high-performance bat for massive players, Fatboy, and the first high-performance youth bat, Black Coyote.
